Aphrodisiacs

Aphrodisiac: n. anything that has the power to excite the sexual passions. Foods, drinks, and behaviours that have a reputation for making sex more attainable and/or pleasurable.

Named after the ancient Greek goddess of love, there are certain foods and other delights that have the magical ability to get you in the mood for one of the Pickwood ladies – even if you’ve just had a fight with the boss..

Pure chocolate, the king of natural aphrodisiacs, contains the ‘love chemical’ which releases dopamine in the pleasure-centres of the brain and peaks during orgasm.

Everyone has heard of the magical sexual powers of oysters. The oyster got its start as an aphrodisiac because it resembles a woman’s vagina. Plus, oysters make you little swimmers much stronger- making them keen to escape!

Strawberries, figs and other red fruits are also powerful lurve stimulants. Fruit is the reproductive part of the plant and many fruits closely resemble sweet, moist, female genitalia.

And have you ever seen a girl eating a banana? Do I need to say anything else about that??

Finally, “there’s no aphrodisiac like loneliness..” ..so if you haven’t been in to Pickwood Lodge for a while – come in for a visit. I just saw the ladies sit down to a plate of freshly shucked oysters :P
